Frequently Asked Questions:
Is there anything i must do in preparation for my graduation?
Yes, you must register 3 months before the program and complete all details online before the program to secure your place. If you do not submit the online form by the deadline we cannot guarantee you a place at the ceremony.

You will need to order your gown and some other items.
When Should I arrive?
You should allow plenty of time before the ceremony commences to register, collect your gown, be photographed and make your way to the Great Hall. Registration on that day will be between 09.15am and 09.45am. Student will be advised to make their way to the Great Hall at 10.00am. All students must be seated in the Great Hall by 10.15am. Admission to the Hall will close 15 minutes before the ceremony start time.
Where do I collect my gown?
You will be able to collect your gown from the Virtual Campus on thet day of the Graduation and Presentation Ceremony. You will be directed by staff and signage to gowning after you register.
What if forget to order my gown?
A limited number of gowns will be available to hire on the day and there will be an additional charge for orders made on the day.
How do I order my gown?
You can order gown online by following the instruction on the Gown hire and Photography. Page.
Can I sit Where I Choose?
Your student seat is reserved. You will be assigned the seat number that corresponds to the order in which you appear in the programme.

Guest seating is unllocated and operates on a first come, first served basic. There will be seats for everyone with a ticket.
Where can I meet my Guests if we arrive separately?
Please arrange to meet guest in the Old Library or anywhere that is good for you.
Where Can I take Photographs?
You are welcome to take photographs throughout the day, including the ceremony. The grounds and local sights are also great photo opportunities.

There will be an opportunity to have professional photographs taken by LADY LABI OMOMUNMI before the ceremony. Details of pricing for their packages can be found from LADY_LABI PHOTO
Will I be able to be photograhed with my guests?
LADY_LABI PHOTO will be happy to do so. There are a variety of photography available. There can be pre-booked or can be purchased on that day.
Where can we get refreshment?
Refreshments will be available to students and their guests before and after ther ceremony. There will also be a congratulatory drinks reception and traditional afternoon tea that includes an array of cakes. All refreshments will be served in the Old Library.

Is it Compulsory to atten graduation?
No, it is not compulsory to attend for the International Studens but it is compulsory to pay for you graduation fees.

Yes, it is compulsory for Ghanians and Nigerians to attend the graudation cermony.
What do i need to wear on the day?
It is recommended if you are wearing a gown that you wear a button through top or shirt which will help you to attach the academic hood to your clothing without pins. If academic dress is not required, you should wear business attire.
What should guest wear to graduation?
Smart dress is required for all guests guests attending Graduation e.g. suit or shirt and trousers for men, and smart skirt/trousers and blouse or dress for women.
